Number of players in a match day squad

The number of players you can play depends on the format and age group you are playing.

U7/8 – Maximum of 10 players

U9/10 – Maximum of 12 players

U11/12 – Maximum of 14 players

U13/14/15/16 – Maximum of 16 players

Teams playing unregistered players or playing more than the allowed match day squad sizes run the risk of fines or reversed results. This mainly applies to U13 and above where you can sign 18 players but can only have a match day squad of 16 players.
