U11 and above Match Referees

At U11 and above the league will attempt to appoint match officials for your games. It is not always possible due to availability of referees to appoint to every match. Should you not have an appointed referee or your appointed referee does not turn up the home team is responsible for officiating the match. That person MUST hold a valid DBS disclosure.

You should also report any non attendance referees to the referees appointments officer so we can understand why they failed to turn up to a match.

Some of our younger referees will be wearing purple shirts to identify them as U18. As such these referees are still children themselves and any incidents will be subject to safeguarding procedures.

Match referees will be paid for by the league. The league will invoice each month the home team for each match. No team should pay a match official on the day.
